I have confidential documents that I would like scanned but due to the sensitivity of these documents they cannot leave my building so can you still help me?
Yes. Digital Scantronics can accommodate your needs. We offer on-site scanning services or arrange for pick up of your documents to scan at our data center. After the documents are scanned we can store, shred or merely return all paperwork.
I have valuable space taken up by paper records. If I would like Digital Scantronics to scan, index and save to a CD, how many 8 1/2 x 11 sheets would fit on a CD?
We can fit 7,143 black and white records at 200 dpi resolution in tif or pdf format on a CD and 71,429 records on a DVD.
Will your records management system be compatible with my current enterprise system?
Yes. Due to the open architecture and Application Enabler module our system will integrate.
If we have Digital Scantronics install an information management system, how secure are documents in your systems?
When entering documents in the system by scanning or sweeping in electronic documents there will be different document types. When the document types are established the security levels are also created, defining who has access to edit or view only. Also within the workflow module the administrator can view an audit trail that details who edits and views each document.
What format will you provide our image documents in?
We can provide .tif, .pdf, or .jpg at 200 dpi resolution in black and white or 24 bit color. Tif and .pdf format are preferred due to their smaller file size.
